Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Prepare shipments for carriers, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification/training provided).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Contribute to overall Logistics efficiency by meeting performance targets.
- Assist in training new associates as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE .
- Familiarity with Logistics software or WMS is a plus.
