Responsibilities for an Insurance Analyst with Phoebe Allentown:
The revenue cycle is defined as all administrative functions that contribute to the capture, management and collection of client service revenue. The Insurance Analyst 2 will be responsible for aspects related to the recoupment of funds from Medicare, Medicare Managed Care Payers, Medical Assistance, Community Health Choices, Medical/No Fault Insurance Companies and Patients. The Insurance Analyst 2 is responsible for enhancing and maintaining a properly functioning revenue cycle process through a cross-department, cross organization structure. These functional areas act interdependently during a client stay, contributing required information for procuring payment.
The Insurance Analyst 2 is expected to demonstrate, through plans and actions, that there is a consistent standard of excellence to which all departmental work is expected to conform. Such standard should be based on establishing and maintaining a constancy of purpose, focusing on continuous improvement and delivering the highest degree of customer service and quality as possible.
Requirements for an Insurance Analyst with Phoebe Allentown:
- The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
- Degree or some course work in Business Administration or related course of study preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in related positions required.
- Experience in medical claims billing/coding, Experience with insurance follow up processes/procedures, Experience working for a medical insurance company
