Senior Estimator

TITLE:
CONSTRUCTION SENIOR ESTIMATOR

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill a full-time role as Senior Estimator for a construction company in the central valley. Your responsibilities will include leading the estimation process for general construction projects. You will be following through on project feasibility and cost-effectiveness, spearheading the preparation of detailed cost estimates and proposals, mentoring junior staff, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations, serving as a key person in strategic decision-making, managing bid processes, engaging in the design phases, analyzing completed projects to compare costs, pricing materials, labor rates and much more.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a construction environment, particularly in a project/production cost estimating role.
• Expertise in labor and materials cost estimation
• Experience working with/estimating construction for large structures up to 1+ million square feet.
• Deep understanding of construction processes and market dynamics.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide detailed tracking of all projects from start to finish.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/MS Project and construction-related programs such as Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
