X-Ray Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical terminology, and anatomy, with experience in X-ray. This role involves performing high-quality imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting diagnostic evaluation and patient care. Candidates with experience in emergency medicine, urgent care are preferred. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical setting that values precision, professionalism, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and operation of imaging equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure images are correctly labeled and stored in accordance with clinic policies.
• Monitor equipment functionality regularly and report any malfunctions or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure.
• Stay current with advances in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education.
• Willingness to cross-train in other roles as appropriate including medical assisting and reception
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Certification as an X-Ray Technician (ARRT or equivalent) is required
• Prior experience of at least 6 months required

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
