Carpenters in restoration play a vital role in repairing and rebuilding homes affected by fire and water damage. Main Requirements

• Experience in restoration carpentry (fire, smoke, and water damage repairs)

• Ability to remove, replace, and rebuild damaged framing, flooring, cabinetry, and trim

• Knowledge of moisture mitigation, mold-resistant materials, and fire-rated construction practices

• Skilled in reading insurance scopes, restoration plans, and blueprints

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to work in occupied homes

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials, work in varied environments (wet, smoky, or confined spaces)

• Commitment to safety standards, building codes, and compliance requirements
