How you will contribute
A Hyperbaric Technician who excels in this role:
- Prepare all patients referred for treatment.
- Administers and monitors oxygen within the services scope of practice recognizing any change in the patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
- Collaborates with other clinical disciplines in a developing plan of care. Accurately documents and enters all patient treatment notes into the CFWH's EMR system.
- Provides appropriate education and/or education materials to patient/family prior to treatment.
- Provides hyperbaric operations and maintenance as required.
- Assists other staff in registration and scheduling patients for HBO therapy or wound care visit utilizing software/systems requirements as well as the CFWH's EMR system
- Provides wound care to patients, including but not limited to undressing, measuring, picturing, and redressing wounds.

What we are looking for
Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN or EMT license and have graduated from an LPN/LVN Program or successfully completed MDHHS approved EMT course.
Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) certification (within 6 months of hire/
