Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading products. Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload products efficiently, utilizing equipment such as wheel carts when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route.
• Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliveries and paperwork.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on the road.
