About The Role

This is a full-time on-site Tax Associate role in Rockwall, TX. The Tax Associate will be responsible for tax

preparation and assisting with various tax-related tasks to support our clients and the firm.

reporting and compliance, tax advisory, and transaction advisory. With over 35 years of experience, we

specialize in cross-border taxation, international tax services, and domestic tax planning to effectively assist

individuals, trusts, estates, and corporations with their tax needs.

What You'll Do

As a Tax Associate, you'll gain exposure to a variety of industries and entity types, preparing individual,

corporate, partnership, S-Corp, and trust returns. You'll also:


• Prepare federal and state income tax returns ranging from simple to moderately complex.


• Research tax laws and apply findings to client-specific situations.


• Analyze client-provided financial information and prepare necessary adjustments or journal entries.


• Build your understanding of depreciation, trial balances, and tax planning strategies.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements


• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation (required) and be fluent in Spanish (preferred)


• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam (150 credit hours completed or in progress), or actively pursuing

certification.


• Strong grasp of accounting principles and tax concepts.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills applicable to a client environment.


• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Additional Details
