Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the certified teacher in areas of behavior, academics, and organization in an educational setting. This role is crucial in helping to manage the classroom, reinforce instructional lessons, and ensure a safe, engaging, and positive learning experience for all students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist instructors in preparing materials for lessons and activities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the instructor

• Monitor student progress and behavior during instructional activities

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Assist with classroom student support in break out small groups that teacher directed.

-Supervise students while playing in the yard and on field trips.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in working with children, preferably in a school or educational settings is preferred

• Ability to coordinate projects and tasks effectively.

• Genuine love for working with young children.

• Patience, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
