BAS Controls Engineer

A well-established building automation and energy solutions provider is seeking a
BAS Controls Engineer
to support commercial and mission-critical projects across South Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex systems while being involved across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, program, and commission Building Automation Systems for HVAC and integrated controls
• Develop and modify control logic, sequences of operation, and graphics
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues
• Support project delivery teams and provide technical expertise during installation and handover
• Assist with system upgrades, retrofits, and client support as required

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with
  Honeywell
  BMS platforms (e.g. EBI, WEBs, or similar)
• Proven experience working with
  Distech Controls
  (EC-BOS, ECY controllers, graphics, and programming)
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
• Experience with BACnet and other common BMS communication protocols
• Ability to read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and specifications

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Background in BAS / Controls Engineering within commercial buildings
• Commissioning and troubleshooting experience in live environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a project team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally when required
