We’re partnered with a fast-growing startup who are looking for a mid-level Frontend Engineer to join their team to build high-quality, user-centric digital experiences. This role suits a React developer who enjoys taking ownership, shipping features quickly, and working in an environment where individual contributions have visible impact.
You’ll work across a range of frontend applications, including customer-facing interfaces and internal tools. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and engineers to shape features from early concepts through to production, working within a shared design system and contributing to its ongoing improvement.
As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, own meaningful parts of the frontend codebase, and see your work delivered to users quickly. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values learning by doing, and enjoys balancing quality with speed.
What will you be doing:
Build and maintain React applications across multiple frontend applications.
Develop and ship new features in collaboration with designers and backend engineers.
Write and maintain tests to ensure reliability and long-term maintainability.
Work within and contribute to a shared design system.
Monitor and improve frontend performance and usability.
Take ownership of features and contribute to technical and product decisions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to iterate based on feedback.
Continuously explore improvements to tools, patterns, and workflows.
What are they looking for:
3–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong experience with React and modern frontend patterns.
Solid working knowledge of TypeScript.
Experience building responsive, mobile-first web applications.
Familiarity with frontend testing practices and tools.
