Position: DevSecOps Engineer (Microservices/Backend Developer) - SC Cleared Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2-3 days in a week to office) Duration: Full Time
Job Description Seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer with strong Microservices and Backend Development expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, cloud platforms, and DevOps principles, along with a solid understanding of secure software delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Back End services using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Implement and promote DevOps and DevSecOps best practices across the development life cycle.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring secure and automated deployments.
Write high‑quality, maintainable code along with robust JUnit test cases.
Work on MySQL databases, ensuring efficient data design and performance optimisation.
Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications on the AWS cloud platform.
Participate actively in AGILE/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Follow ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management.
Collaborate with cross–functional teams to ensure secure, scalable and high‑performing systems.
Your Profile
6‑10 Years of IT experience
Strong experience with DevOps principles
Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Strong experience writing JUnit test cases
Good experience with MySQL database
Good experience working with AWS platform
Good exposure to ITIL processes including incident, problem and change management
Good experience using AGILE methodology
Good to have experience in Redhat Decision Manager and DMN Rules
Good to have experience in Spark, Tableau and Hadoop
