About the role As an Assistant Design Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering water and wastewater projects within our Thames Water Framework. Working collaboratively with our design and construction teams, you'll help ensure our solutions are safe, compliant and buildable. This role offers a supportive pathway to develop your design management career in an engaging and inclusive environment.
What will you be responsible for?
Managing design processes for allocated projects from concept through to construction support.
Coordinating multi-disciplinary design inputs and supporting technical assurance.
Building relationships with design consultants, construction teams and client stakeholders.
Ensuring design outputs integrate effectively with construction methodology and site constraints.
Contributing to innovation and value engineering while developing your pathway to Design Manager.
What are we looking for? This role of Assistant Design Manager is great for you if
You have a degree in engineering or related field with experience supporting design activities.
You enjoy collaborative working with a good understanding of design management processes.
You're organised with excellent communication skills and care about building relationships.
You have knowledge of the water industry and health and safety requirements.
