We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
