We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our facility and plays a critical role in our logistics operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to transport, load, unload, and stack materials. You will ensure materials are moved accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operating procedures are paramount. The ideal candidate will be experienced, safety-conscious, and possess a valid forklift certification. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE usage.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including some Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours.
