Join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for motivated individuals to support various functions within our busy distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a range of tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and assisting with shipping. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our logistics network, ensuring that products move efficiently from our warehouse to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if trained).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required for specific tasks.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Contribute to team efforts and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics concepts.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
