Join our bustling warehouse as a Material Handler in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are seeking an energetic individual to support our daily warehouse operations. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling practices.
- Assist in picking and packing orders according to specifications.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Follow instructions and work effectively with the warehouse team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Experience with basic material handling equipment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
