Responsibilities
- Assist experienced electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and securing electrical components.
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct basic testing using tools like ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify circuit integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Skills
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and measuring devices.
- Experience working on construction sites or in construction environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including safety procedures for handling both types of systems.
- Familiarity with NEC standards governing electrical installations.
- Use of testing equipment like ohmmeters for circuit testing and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of frame carpentry can be beneficial for supporting structural aspects of installations.

Pay Structure depending on experience:
First Year- $20-$22/hour
Second Year- $22-$25/hour
Third Year- $25-$28/hour
Fourth Year- $28-$32/hour
