Bright Bulbs Electric Co., Inc. is seeking a proactive, people-friendly Construction Field Project Manager to oversee commercial projects from kickoff through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, keeping teams aligned, solving real-time challenges, and taking pride in delivering clean, well-organized jobs.
You will work closely with general contractors, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly by coordinating schedules, supporting field crews, and maintaining clear and consistent documentation. We're looking for someone who is confident on job sites, detail-oriented, and steady under changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through completion with a strong field presence
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, and material needs
- Serve as a primary point of contact on job sites for general contractors and clients
- Support field crews by removing obstacles and providing clear direction
- Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Review drawings, specifications, and change orders
- Track project budgets, labor hours, and cost impacts
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Identify issues early and implement practical, timely solutions
Qualifications
- Experience managing or coordinating commercial construction or electrical projects
- Strong understanding of job site operations, scheduling, and blueprint reading
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and shifting priorities
- Comfortable working primarily in the field with some office responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices and codes is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $70,500 – $75,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus: Performance-based
- Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance (offered after 90 days of continuous experience.)
