About

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender / Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, and fast-casual gastropub setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality skills, experience with POS systems such as TOAST, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Prior food and beverage industry experience is preferred, along with excellent time management and multitasking abilities. This is a hybrid bartender / server role.

Duties

  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS system TOAST
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards
  • Handle cash and credit transactions with proper cash handling procedures
  • Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including beverages and food options
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills
  • Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol consumption
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a positive experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
  • Ability to handle cash handling accurately and efficiently
  • Basic math skills for sales transactions and inventory management
  • Knowledge of craft beer is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during peak hours
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $10.98 per hour
