Scheduler:
The Scheduler is responsible for accurately maintaining the nursing department's master schedule and daily work schedules using the scheduling system. This role ensures appropriate staffing levels by reviewing time-off requests, tracking attendance, reporting excessive absenteeism, and implementing creative staffing strategies to minimize the use of supplemental staffing agencies. The Scheduler maintains required documentation, orients agency staff, reviews agency billing for accuracy, prepares daily staffing reports for the Director of Nursing Services, and adjusts staffing levels as directed, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies.

Payroll Coordinator:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely for all employees while maintaining payroll and employment records in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. This role completes required payroll and unemployment forms, ensures employees are offered and enrolled in appropriate benefit programs, communicates payroll information clearly and timely, and resolves payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies. The Payroll Coordinator maintains confidentiality, ensures employees receive accurate and current payroll information, and complies with all requirements of the Corporate Compliance Program.

Basic Responsibilities:

This position will be held accountable for complying with all related laws, regulations, company policies and procedures pertaining to his or her position and for fulfilling his or her obligations under the Society's Corporate Compliance Program.

Education Experience Licensure Certification:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN licensure for state of practice is required. Prior work experience in like or related position may be helpful.

Skills/Abilities:

Ability to communicate and comprehend.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
