Project Manager – Industrial, Manufacturing, Mission Critical

We are partnering with a leading employee-owned general contractor to hire a
Project Manager
to support and lead
Industrial, Manufacturing, and Mission Critical
construction projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from
preconstruction through closeout
, partnering closely with Superintendents and senior leadership to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity for a PM who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working on complex, technically driven projects within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through all phases of construction, from preconstruction planning through final closeout.
- Support and enforce jobsite safety and quality standards, participating in site walks, inspections, and audits.
- Coordinate daily project activities, resolve field issues, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and client expectations.
- Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid reviews, and subcontractor procurement; support contract negotiations and buyout.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasts, change orders, vendor invoices, and owner billings.
- Assist with permitting and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, insurance requirements, and contract terms.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, pay applications, and closeout materials.
- Collaborate with Superintendents and project teams to support manpower planning, sequencing, and schedule execution.
- Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related), or equivalent experience.
- 5-8+ years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction.
- Experience supporting or managing large-scale projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction software and productivity tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality execution.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
