Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team either full-time or part-time. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, communicating wait times to guests.
• Assist in managing the flow of guests in the dining area to optimize seating efficiency.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host stand.

Skills

• Previous hosting experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service and customer service.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of Open Table.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and provide exceptional guest relations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
