Ark Labs is at the forefront of Bitcoin scaling solutions. We're developing Ark, an innovative layer two protocol designed to enable fast, low-cost transactions on the Bitcoin network.

The Role

We’re seeking a Front-End Software Engineer who’s passionate about Bitcoin and motivated to make it more accessible, efficient, and secure for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-side code, independently managing full user stories.
• Integrate APIs of the Ark Labs ecosystem to support both in-house and external products.
• Take responsibility for product elements, including conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality across the team.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Browser APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in either React or Svelte, with experience in their related ecosystems.
• A background in designing software with a user-centered approach.
• Adherence to best engineering practices, including comprehensive testing methods and documentation.
• Previous contributions to open-source projects or equivalent software development experience.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin, digital currencies, or general cryptography is advantageous.
• Understanding of distributed systems and peer-to-peer applications.
• Ability to quickly learn, take initiative on projects, and adopt new skills.
