JOB OBJECTIVE
As a Key Holder, you play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in the efficient day-to-day operations of the store. You lead by example, delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales performance, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, visual presentation, and operational excellence.
Your goal is to maximize sales and service results while promoting the company's image of quality, style, and integrity.
STATUS
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Key Holder is a trusted member of the leadership team. You help create a positive, motivating, and team-oriented environment where associates are inspired to achieve both company goals and personal success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Customer Experience
- Deliver and model exceptional customer service that reflects the brand's standards and values.
- Lead by example in achieving personal and store sales goals through professional sales techniques.
- Motivate and coach team members to drive performance, maximize conversion, and build lasting customer relationships.
- Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a polished and professional image at all times.
Leadership & Team Support
- Support the Store Manager in supervising and guiding daily store operations.
- Assist in the training, coaching, and development of Sales Associates on product knowledge, selling skills, and company standards.
- Provide direction on the sales floor and ensure the team maintains focus on key priorities.
- Step into the leadership role in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Operational Excellence
- Support the manager in maintaining store performance within budget, including payroll, expenses, and inventory control.
- Ensure merchandise is properly ticketed, displayed, and replenished in alignment with visual presentation standards.
- Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, including loss prevention, security, and safety standards.
- Communicate stock replenishment needs and inventory discrepancies to management promptly.
Loss Prevention & Compliance
- Enforce company policies regarding returns, exchanges, credit, and employee purchases.
- Maintain a secure store environment by adhering to all loss prevention and operational protocols.
- Support the team in protecting company assets and minimizing shrink.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management abilities
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
