Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to move materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Organize inventory and ensure proper placement within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and maintain them in good working order.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies related to warehouse operations.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse management.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Must use designated PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and eyewear.
