Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Portland, Oregon. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards within our logistics hub. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, optimizing workflow, controlling inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized environment for all employees. You will play a pivotal role in implementing best practices in logistics and supply chain management. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent leadership qualities, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will ensure all team members are properly trained on safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.   • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring proper use of PPE.
  • Train and mentor warehouse associates on operational procedures and safety practices.
  • Optimize workflow and space utilization within the warehouse.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and logistics efficiency.
  • Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety throughout the team.
  • Ability to assist with tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs. when needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and a thorough understanding of PPE requirements.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
