You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying package contents, and coordinating with carriers. The Shipping Clerk will be the final checkpoint before products leave our facility, ensuring everything is in order. This includes confirming correct items and quantities are packed, documenting shipments, and managing the daily manifest. You'll interact with various shipping carriers, scheduling pickups and resolving any logistical issues that may arise. Accuracy is key to preventing returns and ensuring customer satisfaction. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative spirit among our warehouse staff. Opportunities for professional development within the logistics sector are available. You will be provided with all necessary training on our shipping software and procedures. It is imperative that all staff follow strict Safety guidelines. You will be required to use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Be prepared for moderate Lifting of packages. Understanding of Logistics principles is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and affix shipping labels to packages.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against order details.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Ensure packages are properly sealed and secured for transit.
