We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in sunny San Diego, California. This position is integral to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient warehouse flow. We place a strong emphasis on safety; therefore, adherence to all company safety standards and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. The ideal candidate will be dependable, possess good organizational skills, and be able to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory with care.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders and item specifications.
- Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring product integrity.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational objectives.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
