Our logistics company in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee and manage various warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff activities, managing inventory levels, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining warehouse organization. You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring all staff understand and adhere to best practices for logistics and material handling. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to solve problems effectively. You will work closely with management to optimize warehouse performance and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Ensuring that all team members are utilizing the appropriate PPE is a critical aspect of this role, as is promoting a culture of safety throughout the warehouse. While direct physical lifting may be less frequent than in other roles, you should be capable of occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs to assist or demonstrate tasks. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to take on a key leadership position in a dynamic logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff, providing training and support.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Handle administrative tasks related to warehouse operations.
