About
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse operations in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and assist with order fulfillment. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is paramount, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to operational excellence. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure inventory accuracy and the timely movement of goods. Prior experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and staging for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Handle frequent Lifting of materials up to 70 lbs.
- Support logistics operations as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines.
