We are hiring enthusiastic Order Pickers for our dynamic warehouse in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your main responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order details, verifying product information, and preparing items for the packing and shipping stages. This position demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be expected to maintain an organized workspace, contribute to inventory management efforts, and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Ensure that the correct products and quantities are selected for each order.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for the next stage of processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
- Participate in inventory counts and verification processes.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status or issues.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Familiarity with scanning technology is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
