We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the final stages of order fulfillment, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, documented, and prepared for transit. Your work is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations and ensuring timely delivery to our customers. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier guidelines.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Verify order contents and quantities against shipping manifests.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Assist with receiving and inventory as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and order management systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
