Seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within our facility, from receiving through to shipping. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to traffic rules within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
