As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and assembling customer orders. This involves navigating the warehouse, locating products, and ensuring that the correct items and quantities are picked. Your precision is vital to our customer satisfaction and operational success. Responsibilities:
- Receive order pick lists or instructions via RF scanner or paper.
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders in the designated shipping area.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
