Our expanding logistics facility in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately retrieving products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from inventory based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to identify product locations and confirm picked items, updating inventory in real-time.
- Transport picked goods to designated staging or packing areas using carts or other equipment.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and order accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all established warehouse protocols.
- Comply with all company safety standards, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damaged items, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers responsibly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily picking targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.
- Prior experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret pick tickets and navigate warehouse layouts effectively.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning devices is a strong asset.
- Must possess the physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high levels of accuracy.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Readiness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles and warehouse procedures.
