About
Our Miami, Florida distribution center is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of dedicated warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. This critical role involves managing staff, optimizing workflow, and maintaining a high level of operational excellence within our logistics hub. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment, driving performance, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Your leadership skills and understanding of warehouse management are key to this position. We prioritize safety and provide all necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics operations.
- Manage workload distribution and scheduling for the team.
- Uphold company standards for quality and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to promoting a strong safety culture.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making skills.
