Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory, and operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Capability to enforce strict adherence to PPE policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
