We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our vibrant warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are paramount to our logistics operations, ensuring that we meet customer demands promptly and correctly. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a vital part of our fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Read picking orders and accurately locate items in the warehouse.
- Retrieve specified items using order sheets or scanners.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping area.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
