Job Summary:
We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Austin, Texas. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy of our inventory, which is the backbone of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring our stock levels are precise and readily available. This includes performing counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to enhance inventory integrity. A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our WMS and ERP systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce loss.
  • Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to ensure product freshness and minimize obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, purchasing, and sales teams on inventory-related matters.
  • Generate regular inventory reports and analyze data for trends.
  • Ensure all inventory is properly stored, identified, and secured.
  • Uphold Safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Detailed understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and procedures within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Forklift operation and other material handling equipment is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
  • Understanding of the broader logistics and supply chain landscape.
