Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position requires a meticulous approach to tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies. You will be instrumental in maintaining optimal inventory levels to support our logistics operations and meet customer demand. Your attention to detail will directly impact efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and potential issues.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and damage.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all Safety guidelines and maintain a secure inventory environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Forklift operation is a plus.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
  • Must be able to perform moderate Lifting duties as required.
