We are hiring an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic warehouse environment, this is the perfect role for you. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will include locating specified items within the warehouse, picking them accurately, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. This logistics-focused role demands physical stamina, precision, and a strong commitment to safety. We require all team members to adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. Experience with order picking or warehouse operations is a plus, and the ability to handle frequent lifting is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive customer orders and identify items to be picked.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to locate products within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick specified quantities of items, ensuring product quality.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely to assist with picking and movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area and contribute to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse work, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
