Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move pallets, materials, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers accurately and securely.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock placement and verification.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all housekeeping guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve operational goals.
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary for material handling support.
- Thorough understanding of forklift operation safety and warehouse best practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of required PPE is non-negotiable.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime if required by operational needs.
