Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for various stages of the Logistics process. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility, utilizing various equipment and adhering to strict safety standards. Your ability to manage inventory, load and unload shipments, and maintain an organized workspace will be key to your success. - Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to move materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Organizing and staging inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Performing regular equipment checks to ensure optimal Safety and functionality.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Complying with all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wearing all required PPE , including safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats as necessary.
- Handling significant Lifting tasks, potentially up to 60 lbs.
