Your duties will include processing shipping orders, coordinating with carriers, verifying package contents, and maintaining shipping records. This position is vital to our supply chain operations, ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and without error. You will be expected to follow all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE, and adhere to safe Lifting practices when handling packages. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Verify package contents against shipping orders and invoices.
- Label packages correctly and prepare all necessary shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Operate shipping software and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company and carrier regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques.
- Assist with receiving operations as needed to support overall logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
