You'll be responsible for navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and preparing items for packing and shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify product information (SKU, quantity) for accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring order accuracy.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure efficient operations and safety.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to a supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
