Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and service equipment according to schedules.
- Ensure all equipment operates within Safety standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with installations and modifications of warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all procedures, including LOTO and proper use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including moderate Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
