You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, optimizing storage, and ensuring all shipments are processed correctly. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Manage Lifting and physical demands of the warehouse effectively, ensuring team safety.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and Safety excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of heavy items.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Experience with training and motivating teams.
- Must ensure team adherence to all PPE requirements.
