Job Summary:
Join our growing team in Des Moines, Iowa, as a Distribution Center Associate. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of tasks, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, all aimed at ensuring efficient product flow and customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced logistics environment, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. We emphasize a culture of Safety and teamwork, providing all the necessary training and PPE to ensure your well-being. Your efforts directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to established procedures.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Stock shelves and organize inventory within the distribution center.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Follow all company Safety guidelines and actively participate in Safety initiatives.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
  • Perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Contribute positively to the overall logistics of the distribution center.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and Lifting.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE as provided and required.
