As a Commercial Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects by providing precise cost estimates and ensuring that we stay on budget! You’ll leverage your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation to deliver accurate pricing and cost control solutions. *What you’ll do*
* Develop comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Utilize Bluebeam and The Estimating Edge software to prepare detailed take-offs and pricing analysis.
* Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and terms.
* Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather data, and evaluate potential challenges impacting costs.
* Prepare and present detailed reports on estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for stakeholders.
* Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating practices.
*Basic qualifications*
* Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes.
*Preferred qualifications*
* Proficiency in Bluebeam and The Estimating Edge software.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
* Experience in cost control methodologies within the construction industry.
* Familiarity with project management principles related to construction projects.
* Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
